RETURN POLICY

We have a 30-day return policy, you may return for any reason, we just require you to pay the return shipping cost. ISDL will cover the original outbound shipping charges and restocking fees.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return labels can be provided by us with the cost deducted from your refund. If you would like to arrange your own shipping just let us know.

FREIGHT RETURN POLICY

Because of the large cost associated with freight shipping, the buyer must pay for outbound and return shipping fees on freight orders.

PLANT WARRANTY

If your plants fail to meet our posted specifications or are not healthy when they arrive, we will work out a solution, such as replacement, refund, or return. This must be done within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Proof of claim must be provided via high-quality pictures, sent to info@isdl.ca

The warranty does not include healthy plants that fall within our posted specifications here. There are also guidelines on plant size in the photo gallery of all plant listings. Foliage quality changes seasonally and is not an indicator of bamboo health.
Replacement plants on wholesale sizes must be picked up at our location or we can replace them with mail order sizes of equal value.
Splitting your bamboo division is not recommended and will automatically terminate your warranty.
We are not responsible for wildlife interfering or eating your bamboo. The use of plant cages is recommended to prevent wildlife. Motion-activated sprinklers work well too.
While we do our best to work with everyone, we cannot be responsible for gross negligence. If the customer shows no attempt to follow our plant recommendations or planting and care instructions, we reserve the right to terminate the warranty.
Only 1 replacement can be claimed per warranty. Once a warranty has been executed it is terminated.

2 YEAR EXTENDED PLANT WARRANTY

We offer a paid extended warranty on all of our bamboos, excluding wholesale plants. While our included 30-day warranty is long enough to ensure you received a healthy plant, this extended warranty will ensure you have a successful planting.

One of these two options can be executed for your claim:

Refund of the plant costs minus the shipping cost of the order. This includes when you qualified for “free shipping”. Our cost of shipping will still be deducted.

Replacement plants of equal value. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on replacement plants.
Additional Terms:

a. “Successful plantings” refers to the entire colony. If the original planting dies but produces new shoots, we consider this a successful planting.
b. Proof of claim must be provided via high-quality pictures, sent to info@isdl.ca
c. Damage to foliage is not covered as bamboo produces new foliage every year.
d. Only 1 replacement can be claimed per warranty. Once a warranty has been executed it is terminated.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
